1971 Camaro Gen 2 - reimagined

Built in Coastal Motorsport.

Built over two years in the Coastal Motorsport workshop, our Camaro started as a rusted, beyond-repair shell and was reimagined into a modern race car with classic American style.

  • Imported 800kg of all-new steel panels from the USA
  • Created moulds and built an in-house carbon curing oven
  • Every exterior panel made from carbon fibre
  • Chevrolet LS3 376/525 crate engine
  • 525 hp at the crank and 489 lb-ft torque

The Rebel LS package is designed for GM LS engine projects, with a terminated harness approach that suits custom builds rather than relying on factory road-car wiring.

Customer Camaro builds

We can build the next Gen 2 Camaro for a customer.

Following the successful debut of our 1971 Camaro race car, Coastal Motorsport is offering customer builds based on the same platform and engineering package. Each car is built to customer specification and priced accordingly.

Proven specification

Original Camaro chassis, full carbon fibre body package, BMW E90 M3 front and rear suspension architecture and LS3 Chevrolet V8 power.

Modern race engineering

Haltech ECU with full Haltech PDM wiring system, coilover suspension, motorsport braking system and race-ready preparation.

Bespoke options

Builds can be tailored with steel or full carbon panels, engine options from 430bhp to 650+bhp, data logging, ABS and traction control packages.

Race preparation is offered as a specialist service separate from the day-to-day local garage work. The same workshop experience used on Coastal Motorsport's own cars can support customer race cars, track cars and performance builds.
